Scratch and sniff cards provide additional attention value to printed matter in today’s competitive consumer market. Research by Sanoma indicated that scented scratch and sniff (or rub and sniff) cards and advertisements resulted in the increase of 36% of product purchase, whereas the repeat sales numbers after the first purchase increased by 18%.

Scent the Brand is highly specialised in the production of scent cards with multiple Rub & Sniff scent spots, in various language variants for high circulation international activations:

Our commonly used printing technique for scented print is sheet fed offset. Scent the Brand uses top notch Heidelberg printing presses with up to 10 ink ducts. This enables us to produce up to 10 different scratch and sniff fragrance spots on each side of the scent card.

Scent cards and all of our other scented printing matters are safe from as well a consumer perspective as from a production point of view. Pure perfume is being encapsulated on water bases until it forms microscopic droplets. The scent is only being released when pressure is being applied to the scent spot by scratching or rubbing. Scent cards can stay intact for multiple years.

We produce Scratch & Sniff scented stickers in all shapes, forms and with every imaginable perfume. Scent sticker are well suited as an on-packaging instore scent trial tool. 

Smell, buy & receive a gift

Scratch-and-sniff savings card with a coconut sunscreen scent. The layout on the back features a stamp card. Customers received a stamp for every €100 spent. At €500 a free plain ticket to a EU destination was handed out.

City Sniffers – Rub and Sniff Amsterdam city scent card

Met onze Wrijf & Ruik geurkaart en een gratis app word je door Amsterdam genavigeerd en kan je 5 historische geuren en de verhalen achter de stad beleven.

Scent the Brand printed the following 5 emblematic scents on the City Sniffer card: the stench of the canals, linden trees, pomander, civet cat (in connection to historic perfumes) and rosemary. Each aroma with historical relevance and its own story.

This experience is hosted by the Amsterdam Museum and was created by Sofia Ehrich & team of Odeuropa in collaboration with Scent the Brand scent marketing, Bernardo Fleming of International Flavors & Fragrances, Liam Findlay and the Institute for Art and Olfaction.

N Home scent card for Nikkie Plessen

For the intrduction and activation of the new N Home home fragrance line, consisting of fragrance sticks, roomsprays, scented candles and a refreshing clothing spray, Scent the Brand produced a high quality scent card. With three large Rub & Sniff scent spots, this 350 grams high quality scent card triggers consumers to effectively test and experience the 3 new perfumes of the N Home product range:
– London Muse (warm woody perfume)
– Golden Alps (oriental / amber type)
– Jardin de Paris (fresh citrus notes). 

The scent card is ditributed and sampled with each online webhop order, in the Nikkie retail stores and at B2B partner (department) stores like the Bijenkorf.
