Children born with cleft need to undergo several surgeries. A reoccurring traumatic scent experience for these babies and youngsters is the moment the mask is placed on their mouth & nose just before they go under anesthesia. Scent the Brand visited the operation room of Medisch Centrum Leeuwarden to experience and develop this anesthesia scent that is directly linked with trauma in the brains of the children.
